Why use a pedimeter?

The pedimeter allows you to measure your feet, indeed you need to know your exact size to perfectly adapt your orthopedic soles with your shoes. Smartfeet helps you with an adult pedimeter which will give you the length of the foot in cm. For small feet we recommend that you download the child's pedimeter. You will find below the sizes associated in our size guide.

How to use the pedimeter and measure the size of your foot?

1) Download the online sung (PDF)

2) Print it in size 100%

3) Fold and raise the sheet of right angle paper at the dotted lines. Then place it against a wall.

4) Stand up standing and put your foot on the sheet with the heel against the wall.

5) Measure the distance between the long heel and toe. Then draw a line in the pencil at the end of the big toe.

6) All you have to do is read the pedimeter to find your size. Advice: We recommend that you take a size above, the advantage of our soles can be abused to allow perfect adaptation to your morphology.

Find orthopedic soles suitable for your children's feet

It is recommended to use orthopedic soles from the age of 5. At this age, his skeleton is still flexible enough to quickly correct plantar problems. It is quite difficult to identify this type of problem in children, but you can check if the wear of the shoe appears only on the inside or outdoor side. If this is the case there is a risk that your child will be pronant or supinator. If you ever have any doubts, we recommend that you take your child to a pediatrician or a podiatrist to obtain a concrete diagnosis of the pathology encountered.
